About Hotel Alpha

Situated in Sant'Agnello, a town adjoining Sorrento, the Hotel Alpha is comprised of two interconnecting buildings and personally run by the d'Esposito family, and has been a favourite with Citalia guests for over 30 years.

The Hotel Alpha's renovated 19th century villa is attached to a more modern building, and encircled by a lovely garden brimming with flowers and citrus fruit trees. Its quieter location is perfect for relaxing on the large panoramic rooftop sun terrace whilst soaking up the views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Snacks and a bar service can also be enjoyed on the terrace and live music is also performed here on a weekly basis. The hotel's swimming pool, situated in the corner of the property, is framed by an exotic blend of orange, grapefruit and banana trees.

In addition, the Hotel Alpha also hosts a Neapolitan evening and gala dinner, which is held from mid-May until the end of September.

The centre of Sorrento is a 30 minute walk away but buses and a light railway run regularly to and from the town. Other shops are closer and the lift down to the La Marinella beach (normally in use June-September) is only 320m away.

Accommodation:

Rooms are decorated in the typical style of Sorrento with colourful floor tiles and traditional, high quality textiles. Bedrooms are quiet and peaceful thanks to the double-glazed windows and noise proof insulation in the walls. Facilities include a bath or shower, air conditioning, a 20 inch flat screen television, minibar, hairdryer and safe. All rooms are twin but double beds are available on request. Bedrooms can accommodate an additional two single beds for a third and fourth guest. It is possible to request interconnecting rooms.

Glance across Sorrento's evocative landscape and you will see the soft pink, blue and ochre buildings of Piazza Tasso.
