Occupying the first and second floor of a 19th century building in the centre of Rome, Hotel Augustea is suited for exploring the Eternal City.Its central position on Via Nazionale ensures Rome's top sights are within easy reach either by bus or foot. A number of smaller churches including Sant'Andrea al Quirinale and San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane surround the hotel, and provide some interesting and alternative sights in Rome. In particular, the dome of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane by Borromini demonstrates a skillful example of trompe l'oeil.
