About Masseria Torre Maizza

The chic and contemporary country retreat of Masseria Torre Maizza is located within an exquisite expanse of century-old olive groves. This ancient masseria has been beautifully restored in a sophisticated style and is the sister hotel of the successful and much loved Masseria Torre Coccaro.

The well-appointed guest rooms are decorated to a high standard, with a fresh use of neutrals and colour. Especially luxurious are the spacious Suites, each with their own private swimming pool.

The large estate, which opened in 2006, includes a 9-hole executive golf course overlooking the sea and a further range of golfing facilities. For some additional relaxation, head to the ancient watchtower to find the Aveda Spa, with its extensive list of treatments that use the estate's natural produce.

Since its days as an ancient 16th century watchtower during the raids of the Ottoman and Saracen Turks, the Masseria Torre Maizza has been beautifully brought into the 21st century as a luxurious beach and spa retreat.

In addition to the private, gold sand beach, the nearby Coccaro Beach Club boasts an exquisite fish restaurant and sushi bar, whilst the sophisticated beach lounge area with its linen sofas and hammocks is the perfect place for an afternoon siesta under the Puglian skies.
