Citalia is delighted to feature the traditional family-run Hotel Metropolitan positioned in the historic centre of Bologna, close to the galleried street of Via dell'Indipendenza and Piazza Maggiore.

Recently renovated, the interiors are decorated to a high standard with a contemporary feel running throughout the public rooms, combining classic neutral European décor with an Oriental twist. Each guestroom retains a more traditional feel and is attractively furnished and equipped with modern comforts.

Situated at the corner of Via dell'Independenza, the Hotel Metropolitan lies in a great location for reaching the city's museums and popular shopping areas by foot. In addition, Via dell'Indipendenza leads to Bologna Centrale station, ideal for reaching nearby cities such as Modena, Ferrara and Ravenna by rail. These smaller cities are wonderful destinations for day trips.

About Bologna
