The pretty marina of Rapallo can be seen from one side, and from the other there are views of Portofino bay. The Excelsior Palace Hotel has been restored to its original turn-of-the-century splendour to beautifully combine in its interiors an old-style elegance with modern comforts. The guestrooms, whilst not large, are beautifully decorated fresh colours inspired by the surrounding region.

The Excelsior Palace Hotel boasts two fine restaurants for you to choose between. There is the refined Restaurant Lord Byron spilling onto a panoramic terrace and the Restaurant Eden Roc, which is part of the hotel's charming Beach Club and a lovely setting for a casual lunch or romantic al fresco dinner. With its maritime décor, the smart Yachting Bar is provides a relaxing atmosphere throughout the day in which to enjoy that morning coffee and retire to after dinner.

Choose from a selection of treatments available at the Beauty Farm & Fitness Centre, complete with portholes and relaxing sea views, or spend the days lingering beside the beautiful outdoor swimming pool and bathing platform at the Beach Club, surrounded by those gorgeous Ligurian views.

Accommodation:

Rooms are attractive and comfortable with furnishings in colours of the sea. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite television, minibar, hairdryer and safe. Twin or double rooms are available and rooms are approximately 22 metres squared.

Junior Suite
These suites have a veranda with a sweeping view over the sea and the Gulf of Portofino. There is a large bedroom and seating area, decorated in soft pastel colours. Rooms are approximately 50 metres squared and interconnecting rooms are available.

Eden Roc Restaurant
Sea everywhere you look from the terrace of the Eden Roc, the seaside restaurant of the Excelsior Palace Hotel in Rapallo. During the day it's the port of call for refreshing buffet lunches for those enjoying the privacy of the Beach Club, while in the evening it becomes cosier and transforms itself into a romantic venue for candlelight dinners.
With the complicity of the fading glow of sunset, twinkling stars, charming glimpses of Portofino and the delicate seafood dishes proposed by the chef.
