About Grand Hotel Victoria
The Grand Hotel Victoria is wonderfully positioned amidst its own gardens, separated from the lakeshore only by a small minor road.The main pedestrianised piazza of Menaggio is a couple of minutes' walk along the promenade from the hotel while the landing stage (located a 10 minute walk away) can be reached on request by the hotel's complimentary minibus.
Built in 1890, the Grand Hotel Victoria was recently restored, with public rooms still in keeping with the grandeur of the 19th century Liberty style. During the summer months, guests may dine on the attractive terrace and enjoy their food accompanied by the tranquil panorama of the lake and the Bellagio promontory.
The Grand Hotel Victoria also features a large swimming pool, and there is a golf course, where hotel guests receive green fee reductions, a short drive away. For on lake activities, waterskiing (with instruction) and pedaloes are available (payable locally).
