About Hotel San Rocco
Hotel San Rocco enjoys a glorious location on the lakefront in the picturesque village of Orta San Giulio, with only a 5 minute walk to the pedestrianised Piazza Motta.A former monastery dating back to the 17th century, Hotel San Rocco is furnished throughout to a high standard with guest rooms tastefully decorated in neutral tones and pastel shades. Caring for the environment the Hotel San Rocco has had an innovative catalytic burner installed, to produce thermal energy production with zero emissions.
One of its highlights is the garden terrace, which leads right down to the shore. San Rocco Terrace is also home to the Triumph of Flavours, an event that combines culture and gastronomy, and for the last three years has housed The Artist in the Villa exhibitions.
During the day, the swimming pool provides a relaxing setting from where you can gaze out onto the lake, or find some shade in the ancient cloisters and surround yourself with over 400 years of history. As the sun sets, order a refreshing drink from the hotel's Bar Mezzaluna, and sit back with those peaceful views over towards the island of San Giulio. More lake views can be enjoyed whilst dining at the hotel's restaurant, whose menu has a good reputation. There are a range of sports facilities nearby including golf, riding and waterskiing.
