About Hotel La Palma
Situated opposite the lakeside promenade with only a 5 minute walk to the town centre of Stresa, Hotel La Palma offers elegant accommodations with guestrooms decorated to a high standard.Hotel La Palma's public rooms include a large open-plan lounge, a reading room within the reception area and a restaurant with a view across the garden and the lake. Just across the road, on a terrace above the shingle beach, lies the hotel's large swimming pool. Finished in July 2011, the hotel's new panoramic spa is located on the 6th floor and boasts a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and fitness centre, whilst the 7th floor houses a wonderful panoramic bar, sunbathing terrace and small pool.
The hotel's pretty gardens provide a lovely setting for relaxing in, especially after having wandered amongst Stresa's picturesque villas and gardens. During your stay here do take the cable car ride up to Monte Mottarone, where you will find yourself staring out onto some of Italy's most breathtaking views over the bordering mountains, including Monte Rosa.
Hotel La Palma provides good value accommodation and is a great base from which to enjoy Stresa and the beauty of Lake Maggiore, from the wonderful Isola Bella that houses the impressive 17th century Palazzo Borromeo to the bordering mountains.
Accommodation:
Twin Side Lake View Balcony Rooms measure 25m² and include a balcony with a side view of the lake and the Borromeo Islands. Rooms are equipped with satellite TV, minibar, telephone, safe, internet connection point, air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower and a whirlpool bath.Twin Lake View Balcony Rooms measure approximately 28m² and feature a large balcony overlooking the lake and the Borromean Islands. This room can take up to two extra beds. All facilities are as per Side Lake View rooms with the addition of Etro toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.
Junior Suite Lake View Balcony Rooms measure approximately 35m² and boast large terrace/ balcony overlooking the lake with beautiful views of the islands. These spacious rooms can take two extra beds and include the same amenities as the Lake View Rooms.
