The Grand Hotel Royal's turreted building is full of character and holds a prominent position on the town's famous promenade, across the road from a sandy beach lined with bars.
The hotel's spacious and opulent interiors, with high arched ceilings and marble floors, combined with an enviable location has made the Grand Royal a favourite with our clients for 25 years. Enjoy a typically Tuscan meal in the airy restaurant with its domed glass ceiling, or on the covered terrace, overlooking the lush gardens at the back of the hotel. Emulate poolside chic in the secluded hotel garden, where you'll find a private swimming pool and poolside bar, or hire a bike and discover the old world elegance of Viareggio's palm-lined avenues.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable with classic furnishings. They include a bath or shower, satellite television, portable air conditioning unit, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, internet access, direct dial phone and safe. All rooms feature twin beds but double and single rooms are available on request.
