Hotel Augustus embodies the grandeur of a bygone era, and enjoys a superb location in a peaceful residential area, only a few minutes' walk from its own private beach.

Once a splendid seaside villa of the Pesenti family, hidden away amongst its own spacious grounds deep in a pinewood forest that extends to its own beach via a private underpass, the Hotel Augustus is now managed by Nino Maschietto and his family. Some of the original family furniture is still present in the sitting rooms and the guestrooms, complete with balconies that gaze out onto the tranquil surroundings. In addition to the guestrooms with balcony and garden views, the Hotel Augustus also includes Suites with a separate lounge and two divan beds (for 3-4 people).

In the large gardens is a swimming pool with a sunbathing area, and a clubhouse, snack bar and piano bar are open on the beach from mid June-September. A buffet lunch is served at the beach (weather permitting) at a charge payable locally.

The Hotel Augustus provides the idyllic setting for a holiday immersed in countryside surroundings that lead onto the golden sands of the Tuscan Riviera, all within a 30 minute walk away from the town centre.
