Sheltered in a natural suntrap, the area around Lake Garda enjoys a warm climate in which olive groves and lemon orchards flourish.

DESENZANO

From the southern banks of Lake Garda lies the charming town of Desenzano, gazing out over to the Alps. A network of piazze, al fresco cafés and boutiques contrast beautifully with its three large beaches.

From its lush gardens a path snakes through densely wooded arbours of the Acquapazza valley. Gardone Riviera's lakeside promenade is lined with intellectual cafés and artistic trattorias offering the gracious charms of a bygone era.
