About Hotel Le Sirenuse
Originally built during the 18th century as a summer residence for the aristocratic Neapolitan family Marchesi Sersale, Hotel Le Sirenuse was beautifully converted in the last century into the delightful luxury five star hotel it is now.At the heart of Hotel Le Sirenuse, which is still owned by the same family, is the original villa that houses elegant public rooms furnished with beautiful antiques, an interesting feature being the bar which originally served as the workbench of a goldsmith. Care and attention to detail runs throughout the hotel, from the lifts and poolside sun loungers to the hotel's luxurious Sirenuse AVEDA Concept Spa, where you can experience a range of relaxing and energising treatments including an ice-cold plunge pool.
The light and airy guest rooms, comprised of whitewashed walls, vaulted ceilings and hand-made tiles, are housed in carefully designed adjoining wings, faithfully constructed to echo the historic style of this lovely old house.
Start each day with breakfast on the charming terrace, weather permitting, before enjoying more fabulous views from the sun terraces that surround the small heated swimming pool.
Discreet, efficient and friendly service adds to the welcoming atmosphere while breathtaking views look out to sea and over Positano, the centre of which is just a 5 minute downhill walk away.

About Positano
Italy's most spectacular stretch of coastline with steep-stepped Positano, clinging to tall cliffs; Amalfi with its whitewashed villas, fisherman's dwellings, merchant town houses and luxury hotels that overlook sapphire coloured seas; and beautiful Ravello, whose lofty setting commands inspirational views.POSITANO
A narrow ribbon of shimmering asphalt running over ravines and translucent sea, links Sorrento to the beauty of Positano, a vibrant village clambering down past narrow buildings and sleepy lanes. Shaded by the church of Santa Maria Assunta and its famous 13th century Black Madonna, meander down these lanes to the waterfront where a profusion of cafés, bars and restaurants serve freshly landed seafood. The hills above Positano are strewn with paths, making up the Trail of the Gods, which zigzags through lush vegetation leading walkers to the delightful hamlet of Nocelle.
PRAIANO
Set amongst the inlets of the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, just 4 miles (6,5km) from Amalfi and 5 miles (8km) from Positano is the ancient fishing village of Praiano. This delightful seaside resort presents itself to the seas as a cascade of white houses on a green flowering slope surrounded by sandy coves.
