The town of Bardolino sits in the south-eastern corner of Lake Garda, in the region of Veneto. Sheltered in climate with plenty of sunshine and rich soil, the area promotes the perfect growing conditions to create well-known varieties of wine; particularly its fruity, dry red namesake.

For those who want to find out more about the production of wine and taste some of the varieties grown here, there are numerous vineyards that offer tours and tasting sessions. The Zeni winery is one of the oldest wine producers in Bardolino. Now run by a fifth generation of the same family, they produce a variety of wines including Bardolino, Soave and Laguna. Here you will find a museum where you can discover the history of wine making, along with the methods and techniques used in the area- and of course try a few varieties of their best produce!
