Map of Day 6: Ragusa

There are a few suggestions as to how you spend your time in Ragusa. Built on a high plateau, the new Ragusa (Ragusa Superiore) is a bustling modern town echoing that of what the old town (Ragusa Ibla) may have been in its heyday before being destroyed in an earthquake. Having been rebuilt to its former glory, the old town is now a haven for budding architectural enthusiasts, offering a collection of baroque palazzi scattered across the alluring piazzas and old grey stone houses tumbling down the slanted alleyways.
