Gelato is Italy’s richer, creamier and (we think) tastier answer to ice-cream, and this hour-long class will teach you how to make the very best quality gelato yourself. Held in a gelateria in the centre of Rome, the small group size (no more than six people) makes this a really intimate experience. 

Your tutor is a dedicated ‘gelato chef’, who’ll start by introducing you to the world of gelato. You’ll talk through the ingredients needed and the importance of high-quality, organic produce, before slipping on your apron to begin making your base. You’ll be taught how to use mixing machines to get the ideal consistency, too.

Once you’ve mastered the art of creating the perfect scoop, it’s time for the best bit: sampling all that gelato. You won’t go home empty-handed, either; a recipe guide will make it easy for you to mix your own artisanal Italian gelato at home.
