Piedmont Holidays

Bordering France and Switzerland, Piedmont is a region that’s as diverse and picturesque as you would expect. Surrounded on three sides by the Alps, Piedmont boasts some of the highest peaks and largest glaciers in the country, but it also has some of the most beautiful landscapes, with expanses of vineyards and lakes including Maggiore and Orta.

Piedmont’s capital, Turin, is a bustling city that’s just starting to get noticed by tourists and offers plenty of culture alongside delicious cuisine and a vibrant artist feel. Head into the countryside and you’ll be greeted with medieval castles and terme spa resorts. The region is also well known for its white truffles, which are celebrated with the International White Truffle Festival every October.
