  • Have an expert guide take you on a tour round the Uffizi
  • See world famous works of art
  • Take the opportunity to wander at your own leisure once the tour is over

The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most famous art galleries on the planet. Situated in the birthplace of the Renaissance, home to many great masters of Italian art, it’s no wonder such a fine collection of art remains here.

You’ll find the Uffizi just off the Piazza della Signoria, where you’ll reach the replica of Michelangelo’s David and the outdoor sculpture gallery, otherwise known as the The Loggia dei Lanzi. Once you’ve wandered past some of these iconic pieces of art, you’ll arrive at the gallery. Here, you'll be escorted around by a knowledgeable guide, who can talk you through the works of art on display and offer a little insight into their history.

The collection starts from the early Renaissance, where you’ll find artists like Cimabue and Giotto, who were beginning to experiment with the fundamentals of linear perspective. Next, it reaches the height of the Renaissance period, where you’ll notice the style of painting changes. You'll recognise some of the artists here, including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. You’ll be able to see how art has changed over the years, from subject matter to artistic style. Once the tour is over, you’ll have the opportunity to wander at your own leisure.

“One of my most memorable moments in Florence was visiting the Uffizi gallery. My favourite part was seeing Botticelli’s Primavera in the flesh, it was unforgettable, the detail and skill that must have gone into producing such a beautiful work of art blew me away.”  Zoe Turner, Product Assistant
