Mount Etna & Taormina (from Cefalu): A chance to explore the beautiful town of Taormina which dates back as far as 358 B.C, its home to some of the most well-preserved buildings and medieval courtyards. You will be to enjoy Sicily's most famous natural landmark and experience the most magnificent view from 1,900 metres. An optional ascent to 2,900 metres by cable car and jeep is also available to book (Mount Etna & Taormina 2,900m from £88 per person), or decide on the day and pay approx. €65 per person whilst on the excursion.

Wine tasting in Castelbuono (from Cefalu): The Madonie Mountains are scattered with picturesque hilltop towns, possibly the prettiest of all is Castelbuono. After a stroll through this medieval town centre, visiting the majestic castle, you will be able to sample some of the local cured meats, spicy cheese, honey and bread, all washed down with some special wine of the area.

Explore Palermo & Monreale (from Cefalu): An opportunity to look around the Cathedral at Monreal which dates back to William the Conquerer and to be guided through the capital's busy streets. Here the architectures mix in Gothic, Norman, Baroque, moorish and Arab styles.

Dinner in the Madonie Mountains (from Cefalu): A drive through the Madonie National Park to the beautiful mountain village of San Mauro Castelverde, famous for its medieval churches and small squares. From here you can admire the beautiful landscape and views to the sea. You will then set off to reach Karsa, a small hamlet of San Mauro village and 'Trattoria La Posada' for a real Sicilian feast. Everything you will taste will be organic and produced in the surrounding farms. During the dinner some typical Sicilian music will be played.
