A marvellous private estate spanning 55 acres of pine forest, extravagant gardens bursting with colour and a dazzling white beach with crystal clear sea, a holiday at the Forte Village, Sardinia offers something for everyone. You can relax in a haven of peace and tranquillity, only surfacing to enjoy fine wine and exquisite food, or to enjoy all the leisure facilities on offer.

Dining at Forte Village

On arrival at the Forte Village, Citalia guests are given a meal pass which includes daily breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a generous self service buffet presented on the Oasis terrace. Dinner is a broad range of dining options including a steak house, seafood restaurant and other delightful outlets. (Please note some dining outlets are at a supplement, payable locally.) Enjoy a complimentary half bottle of house wine and mineral water, when dining at Pineta. Families enjoy hassle free dining as children's menus are also available.

All guests may dine in their hotel's dedicated restaurant. If you'd like to dine at any of the other restaurants, this can be done by making a reservation (supplements may apply).


Pineta Restaurant - (Il Villaggio guests). Variety is the spice of life; enjoy a delicious buffet in a pine grove setting. The menu changes daily and guests are treated to special themed evenings. Pineta restaurant is the ideal place to sample Italian cuisine from the countries finest regions.


Bellavista Restaurant - (Le Palme, Il Borgo guests). Just a stones throw away from the sea, Bellavista restaurant serves traditional Sardinia and Italian cuisine fused with a modern twist. The fantastic wine list compliments every dish.


Cavalieri Restaurant - (Royal Pineta, Hotel Castello guests). Enjoy a lavish buffet in the most idyllic al fresco setting. Cavalieri offers something for everyone. Dine on fresh fish and pasta dishes complimented with an inviting dessert menu. Italian ice cream anyone?


Le Dune Restaurant - (Le Dune guests). This sophisticated a la carte restaurant is on the edge of the beach looking out to the beautiful sea. Enjoy a menu of modern Italian dishes crafted from regional recipes.


Belvedere Restaurant - (Villa del Parco guests). Belvedere restaurant is one of the flagship restaurants at Forte Village and house in the exclusive Villa del Parco hotel. Take in the view of the emerald sea from this roof top hideaway. Enjoy the finest Mediterranean cuisine at this special a la carte restaurant.

A dress code applies for evening dining.

Peak season at Forte Village is July, August and October, outside of these dates not all restaurants and facilities are open. Also during off peak dates corporate conferences and events may affect the opening of selected outlets.

Younger guests get to live the dream. Every summer learn new skills from genuine trainers from the world famous Chelsea football club. New this year, children can choose to train in specific fields, such as goalkeeping, defending, playmaking and striking. This once in a lifetime opportunity is open to children 4 - 13 years of age.

Forte Village Rugby Academy
The stars of tomorrow are trained by some of key players in rugby history. These stars include Will Greenwood and Austin Healey. The forte village rugby academy is open to boys and girls between 6 - 15 years of age.

Forte Village Tennis Academy
Spend time and learn all the secrets from some true tennis stars and champions. This is one of the most exclusive dates in the Forte Village calendar. This year the academy will host Pat Cash, Jonas Bjorkman and Paul Haarhuis to name a few.

Health & Beauty at Forte Village

The Thaermae del Forte is a world renowned health and beauty centre based on the ancient thermal pools from the nearby Roman town of Nora. Discover true relaxation on a holiday to the Forte Village and visit the Thaermae specialists for a tailored programme. Alternatively for the ultimate indulgence the beauty centre offers hairstyling, Shiatsu massages, Cryotherapy and mud treatments.

Guests wishing to use any of the facilities at the Thaermae del Forte must obtain a day's ticket (approx 90 Euros ** treatments are not included **) that includes use of the Thalassotherapy pools, sauna, Turkish bath and fitness centre. Please note children under 16 are not permitted.

Citalia have some fantastic family offers so everyone can enjoy a holiday at Forte Village. Offering exceptional value families will be amazed by the array of facilities on offer. Children and young adults of all ages are catered for at Forte Village.

Daytime Nursery: This wonderful service is open to infants and children under 3 years. Payable locally Daytime Nursery is a great option for parents looking for peace of mind during their stay. Baby sitting is also available (Payable locally, maximum 2 children).

Mini Club: Free of charge and no pre-booking required Mini Club is open to guests aged 2-11 years. Within the club, members can enjoy a special activity programme and a charming adventure playground.

Junior Club: Pre-booking isn't required at the Junior Club but some activities carry a charge. Open to members aged 12-17 years activities include sailing, windsurfing, pedalo races, football, tennis, volleyball and canoeing.

Chelsea Football Club Soccer School: For the ultimate football experience Chelsea football club and Forte Village have teamed up to offer guests 4-13 years the opportunity to train with some best coaches in the world. This week-long programme has been designed to improve your child's skills. The Chelsea Football Club Soccer School can be pre-booked and is payable locally.

Forte Village Rugby Academy: Forte Village are proud to offer the "Forte Village Rugby Academy". This unique programme is open to boys and girls aged between 6-15 years, offering them an insight to this historic sport. Youngsters are offered the chance to learn and develop new skills and have the chance to train with true rugby legends such as Austin Healey, Jason Robinson and Will Greenwood. The Forte Village Rugby Academy can be pre-booked and is payable locally.

Forte Village Tennis Academy: This summer get insider tips from true champions such as Pat Cash, Jonas Bjorkman and Paul Haarhuis.

Kid's City: Enter a world of creativity and fun. The mantra here is Meeting, Creating and Expressing. Kid's are released into a variety of different laboratories, game zones and activity centres, allowing them to meet new friends, create their own world and express themselves freely. Future Gordon Ramsay's can test their culinary skills, learning the art of Italian cuisine, budding singers and actors can put on the show of their lives at the theatre and games enthusiasts can spend hours competing on Nintendo Wii.
