Amalfi Drive (from Sorrento): It is said to be the most spectacular road in Europe, and from Sorrento the winding cliff top road offers breathtaking panoramic views at every bend. You'll stop at Amalfi and Ravello to visit Villa Rufolo, which gave the musician Richard Wagner the inspiration to create one of his most famous operas, Parsifal.

Pompeii & Vesuvius (from Sorrento & Amalfi Coast): Wandering through some of the ancient streets of Pompeii, you can see Baths, Forums and Villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 B.C. A coach will take you to within 1,000 metres from the top of Mount Vesuvius, and from there you can opt to walk to the very top with a specialist guide and admire the splendid panoramic views across the bay.

Sorrento & Herculaneum (from Amalfi Coast): Drive through the picturesque villages of Conca dei Marini, Furore and Praiano, before arriving in Sorrento where you'll spend the morning. In the early afternoon you'll head to Herculaneum for a guided visit of this once residential town that was buried in ashes by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D.

Rome (from Sorrento): Enjoy Rome in one day visiting the Vatican City, St. Peters Basilica and the famous Sistine Chapel where you eill discover Michelangelo's greatest work of art.
