So, you’re ready to explore Italy? You’ve come to the right place. As the leading Italian specialists, we’ve been creating bespoke itineraries to Italy for 85 years. Stay in two places or 10, go for a guided tour or explore independently, drive yourself or opt for public transport – whatever you’re looking for, we can help. You'll find all the details about the different options we have below, including tours, multi-centres, fly-drives and walking & cycling holidays.
If you love to explore but prefer to stay in the same hotel for your holiday, guided tours are ideal. You’ll stay in one place, but head off on guided excursions most days that’ll allow you to really get to know the destination and surrounding area.
Our self-guided Italy tours are similar to our multi-centre holidays (which you can find out more about below), but each one has a particular theme. It could be an itinerary that’s perfect for first-time visitors, a wine-lover’s route that stops off at the country’s best vineyards, or even a photography-themed suggestion taking in the prettiest spots in Italy.
Our fly-drive itineraries include flights, hotels and car hire, with suggested routes for making the most of Italy’s beautiful countryside and coastline. You could circle the stunning island of Sicily, meander along Tuscany’s winding lanes, even cross the undiscovered south.
Escorted tours (with a coach, driver and guide) are a hassle-free way to explore Italy, and great if you’d rather not drive or don’t feel confident navigating public transport.
This eight-day escorted tour takes you to some of Sicily's best-known sites, including the Greek temples of Agrigento, Monreale's UNESCO-listed cathedral, and the seaside towns of Cefalu and Taormina.
Lace up your walking boots and hike through some of Italy’s most stunning regions, including Piedmont and South Tyrol.
Our cycling tours put a new spin on the phrase Italian adventure, taking you through the vineyards of Veneto, Tuscany's rolling hills, Piedmont's foodie towns and Umbria's winding backroads.
In partnership with river cruise experts Le Boat, we're offering three fantastic boating holidays where you'll cruise the waters of Veneto and the Venetian Lagoon.
Start off with a beach stay on the Venetian Riviera, before picking up your boat for a seven-night cruise around the Venetian Lagoon and west to Padua.
This itinerary is ideal for boating beginners, taking you from the Venetian Riviera through the quiet canals and waterways of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Start off with a stay on Lake Garda, before picking up your boat for four nights of leisurely cruising around the islands of the Venetian Lagoon.
These suggested itineraries cover everything from city-and-beach breaks to epic adventures across Italy. They’re independent (no guides or groups) and all are completely customisable, so you can mix and match to create your perfect trip.
