Travelling by Eurostar is a quick, easy and comfortable way to begin your journey to Italy. Trains glide out of London and pass the Kent countryside, before travelling through the Channel Tunnel and emerging in northern France, arriving into Paris' Gare du Nord in around two hours. Spend a day or two in the 'City of Light' seeing the sights and museums, browsing designer boutiques and dining at cosy bistros, or continue straight on to Italy.
Travelling to Paris' Gare du Nord on the Eurostar could not be easier with journey times taking on average two hours from the UK, with frequent trains departing every day. There are three stations from which you can board the Eurostar; St. Pancras, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International. Children under four years travel for free unless they require their own seat and child prices are available for children aged 4-11 years.

At London St Pancras station you will find an impressive range of shops, restaurants, bars and a mix of independent and boutique retailers just as you would expect to find at any UK airport; along with information boards and help desks. Inside the departure lounge more shops, cafés, a newsagent, cash machines with currency in euros and sterling, and a bureau de change can be found. Wi-fi access is free to use throughout the station including the Eurostar departure lounge.

Ebbsfleet International is a sleek and modern station with good facilities including cash machines, a newsagents and a café both before departure and in the departure lounge. Wi-fi is available at a cost of approximately £2.99 per half hour and can be purchased online or at the ticket desks.

Ashford International station is conveniently located next to Ashford domestic train station. It features a bar, café, bureau du change, newsagents, cash machines (before check-in only) and a toddlers' play area. Inside the departure lounge there is a newsagent, café and a bar. Wi-fi is available at a cost of approximately £3 for 30 minutes or £4.50 for 60 minutes and can be purchased online or at the ticket desks.
At Paris Gare du Nord station you will find fantastic facilities including cafés, newsagents, a gift shop, cash machines and a bureau du change; inside the departure lounge these extend to include fine food shops, a parfumerie and a souvenir shop. Wi-fi is available throughout the station including the Eurostar departure lounge and is payable locally. SFR tickets can be purchased from the Relay shops.
Travel in Standard Class for spacious, air-conditioned carriages, free wifi throughout St. Pancras International station and a check-in time of just 30 minutes before departure. There are two on-board buffet cars where you can purchase a selection of light meals, snacks and sandwiches (by Waitrose) and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There are no seats in the bar area, but there is room to stand if you fancy a break from your seat.
Travelling in Standard Premier Class is an excellent way to enjoy the Eurostar. In addition to the services of Standard Class you can enjoy a dedicated carriage, spacious extra legroom seats with a power point, complimentary magazines and a complimentary continental breakfast or light meal served to your seat with drinks (beer, wine or non-alcoholic).
